【お題日記】秘密の恋って続くと思う？

I think unrequitedlove -- the kindwhere you just can'tbring yourself to confess your feelings -- cango on and on. Honestly, Ithink it couldlast forever, as long as thatperson neverdoes something that hurts me or shatters theimage Ihave of them.
Then there's the kind oflovewheretwo people feel the same way abouteach other, but just can't tellthe world -- likewhen there's adifference in socialclass or status, orwhen you've gone andfallen forsomeonewho's supposedto be your enemy, like Romeo and Juliet. That kind oflove,more often than not,ends intragedy.
And I supposewhat really belongs in this conversation is thetopic of extramarital affairs. Though I'dalso say that sometimes apurely physical relationship can carry oneven without any reallove oremotional attachment -- not that that's something I'dever do, of course.
